Enhance the beautiful features of any home with the tailored styling of custom box pleated (also known as inverted pleat) drapes and curtains.  The sleek, flat heading and deep inverted folds of this particular type of formal window treatment lend an effortless elegance to the surrounding decor of any living space.

While this clean, classic curtain appears to be formed using two layers of fabric, the box pleated drapery is actually one piece of material double pleated back to back, hence the term “box pleat” for the appearance of a series of collapsed boxes.  The term “inverted drape” stems from the specialized tucking of pleats so that the curtain’s fullness is inverted towards the window.

It is important to note that this type of window treatment is best suited as a stationary panel, as the box pleat carries its fullness along the back of the heading, making it awkward to open and close.
